Twice the Bang for your Buck!

Photron is pleased to announce the launch of the FASTCAM MC2. Following the enormous success of the Fastcam MC1, Photron has now added a second camera capability; meaning you can now have two miniature high speed camera heads connected to a single compact DC powered control unit.

Meausuring less than one and a half inches (35mm) square, the highly sensitive MC2 camera heads are the connected to the control unit via flexible cables measuring twenty three feet (7m) long and so are ideally suited for location on or around a production line for remote monitoring of costly jams or problems. The built-in Gigabit Ethernet port means there is no need for an operator or computer to be local to the processor, rather the cameras can be controlled from a network location, possibly hundreds of miles away. The automatic download feature means that when there is a problem, the cameras can be triggered and the high speed video of the problem automatically sent to a remote location for later review to identify the exact cause of the problem. An optional RS422 remote keypad, with built-in 5" LCD display, means you do not need to have any computer connected to setup and operate the high speed camera.

The Fastcam MC2 uses readily available C-mount lenses to keep your ROT as high as possible.

Contact Photron to schedule a free demonstration at your facility to enable you to see how the Fastcam MC2 can start saving you money.

The Photron FASTCAM-PCI ushers in the next generation of high-speed video camera systems, offering superior image quality. Recording rates range from 250 full frames per second with 512 x 480 pixel resolution up to 10,000 partial frames per second.

Aspect Ratio Often used to reference the ratio of width to height for an image in some standard format. Such as 4:3 used in conventional (native format) or 16:9 used in HDTV format.

PHOTRON INTRODUCES SMALLEST HIGH SPEED CAMERA:

The world's smallest high speed video camera, the FASTCAM MH-4 was a huge hit at the recent Automotive Testing Expo held in Novi, Michigan. The small DC powered processor can support four tiny (1.5" cubed) camera heads, with flexible cable lengths anywhere from three to thirty three feet without repeaters or power, Gig-E interface, battery backup or operation and a whole host of new features too.
